Starting a Password Reset on yabos
To reset your password, visit the yabos login page and click the "Forgot password?" link. You'll be asked to enter the email address associated with your account. Enter it carefully — if you enter an email that doesn't match any yabos account, you'll see a message saying no account was found.
Once you submit your email, we send a password reset link to your inbox. The link is valid for a limited time — typically a few hours. Check your email (including spam or promotions folders) for a message from yabos with the subject line "Reset your yabos password." If you don't see it, wait a few minutes and refresh your inbox.
Click the reset link in the email. You'll be taken to a secure page where you can enter your new password. Choose a password that is at least 8 characters long and includes a mix of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols. Avoid using personal information like your name, birthdate, or account number.
After you confirm your new password, you'll see a success message. You can now log in to yabos using your email and new password. Your account is immediately accessible — there's no waiting period or additional verification required.
What to Do If You Don't Receive a Reset Email
If you don't receive a password reset email within a few minutes, check these common issues:
- Check your spam folder: Password reset emails sometimes end up in spam or promotions. Search for "yabos" in your email provider's spam folder and mark the email as "not spam" if you find it.
- Verify the email address: Make sure you entered the correct email address on the reset page. If you're unsure which email is linked to your account, try the email addresses you commonly use.
- Wait a few minutes: Email delivery can take a few minutes, especially during peak hours. Wait subject to verification and check again before requesting a new reset link.
- Request a new link: If you still don't see the email, go back to the login page and click "Forgot password?" again. You can request a new reset link as many times as needed.
If You've Forgotten Your Email Address
If you can't remember the email address linked to your yabos account, you'll need to contact our support team. We can help verify your identity and either recover your email address or create a new account with a different email.
To contact support, use the help section in your yabos account (if you can still log in) or email our support team directly. You'll need to provide some account details to verify your identity — this might include your phone number, the date you created your account, or recent transaction history. This verification process protects your account from unauthorized access.
Account recovery is faster when you keep your contact information up to date on yabos.
Keeping Your Account Secure After a Password Reset
Once you've reset your password, take a few steps to keep your account secure going forward:
- Use a strong, unique password: Don't reuse passwords from other accounts. Each password should be unique to yabos.
- Enable two-factor authentication (if available): Check your account settings to see if two-factor authentication is available. This adds an extra layer of security by requiring a code from your phone when you log in.
- Keep your email secure: Your email is the gateway to your yabos account. Use a strong password for your email account and enable two-factor authentication there as well.
- Don't share your password: Never share your yabos password with anyone, including yabos staff. We will never ask for your password via email or chat.
- Log out on shared devices: If you log in to yabos on a shared computer or phone, always log out when you're done. Don't check "Remember me" on public devices.
Account Lockout and Support
If you've tried to reset your password multiple times and still can't access your account, you may be temporarily locked out for security reasons. This is a protective measure to prevent unauthorized access. Wait a few hours and try again, or contact our support team for immediate assistance.
Our support team is available via email and live chat. When you contact us, have your account email address ready and be prepared to verify your identity. Response times vary depending on the time of day and support volume, but we aim to resolve account access issues within a few hours.
If you're in Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, Medan, or Semarang, our support team operates during standard business hours. During major holidays like Idul Fitri, Idul Adha, Imlek, or Nyepi, response times may be longer, but we maintain support coverage throughout the year.
